Preaching & Teaching

Current Sermon Series

  • I preach every Sunday evening at Covenant PCA here in Cleveland. Right now I’m in the middle of a series on Romans. You can listen here.

  • Occasionally I preach in our morning service when Pastor Tim takes off or needs a break. I’ve been working through Esther in the mornings. Listen here.

Sunday School Classes

  • I am currently finishing up a class on Biblical Masculinity that I taught with Ruling Elder Matthew Mullins.

  • I’m in the middle of writing my next class on the Ordinary Means of Grace from the Westminster Standards.

Bible Studies

  • Tuesday Night Men’s Bible Study — we are working our way through the Westminster Larger Catechism question by question. We' arrive at #83 tomorrow. (If you’re interested in attending, reach out to me privately.)

  • On Wednesday nights I get to hang out with the youth at Covenant and we are just now starting a series through the Westminster Confession of Faith.

  • On first Thursdays I lead a group of ladies from our church through the Westminster Confession, one chapter per month. We have been going for a few years and have 4 more chapters to go.

Presbytery & General Assembly Work

  • I am a member of Covenant Presbytery and currently serve on both the Candidates Committee and the Credentials Committee. I am chairing Credentials for a second year, and we usually have 1-3 candidates coming for transfer, licensure, or ordination for every Presbytery meeting.

  • The 52nd PCA General Assembly meets in Chattanooga, TN June 23-27, 2025. This year I am serving on the Committee of Commissioners for the Permanent Administrative Committee.

    • Scott Edburg, Jared Nelson, and I will have an episode of Polity Matters coming out in May that overviews all the Overtures coming to GA this year, so stay tuned.
